And you want to be hundred percent sure that you can rely on what you have agreed with. The best wedding photographer do not just shoot and photograph around. But prepare and support you with practical tips and accompany you in a photojournalistical way through a very important day when two families unite, and captures a series of pictures that will make your eyes sparkle and conjure your beloved ones a smile on their face. Today we are writing about how you can quickly find out if your wedding photographer will do a good job and whether he or she is the right photographer for your one and only weddingday.

Because it wants to show the generations to come, how “it was then” and because these are the very special moments of life that we all want to hold onto. But where do these Wizards hide, and capture such important seconds in a very discreet and invisible way behind their camera lenses, and nail all the beauty of this important family event for eternity? A first good point to start with is the mouth-to-mouth recommendations of friends and family or experiences you have collected as guest at other weddings. This can create a basic trust – the most important point for a successful cooperation.
Important questions to your wedding photographer
If you have no references and you have to make some research on your own, ask yourself (or the photographer) three questions:
- Are they able to?
Check your candidates – in the first step online. How do the pictures on the website look like? Do they appear professionally? Is there a wide portfolio displayed of weddingreportages? You should match each other and put your documentation of your wedding to the hands of these professionals with the deepest trust. If these prerequisites are fulfilled, we put the third point into the game: You have to get what matters you the most! Ask a question, do not worry – the best wedding photographers have experienced a lot and can be of help in many questions about all topics of wedding and photography, and this way, at the same time, you will be able to test their professionalism. A nice thing about weddings is that they show similarities in the process and yet are all so different and unique. - How are the wedding photos handed out: printed, or photo-book only? As digital picture files or on any other device.
- How and how many of the photos will be properly post processed, retouched?
- What costs are included in the prices and which are extra to figure out?
- The best wedding photographer and videographer will definitely be punctual with deadlines of the photos and videos after the wedding
